Dr. Loedding has studied dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine. While attending the University of Pittsburgh he had completed optional advanced electives in prosthetic dentistry and pharmacology. He also completed another advanced elective in oral surgery. This one-month elective was completed at Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh with oral and maxilliofacial department specialists.
He then was accepted into a one-year post doctorate residency program at the VA Medical Center in Oakland (Pittsburgh, PA). The primary focus of this residency program was general dentistry. It also included a background in medicine as well as training from board certified prosthodontics (specialists in denture, crown & bridge and partials).
Dr. Loedding had then obtained a staff position at the VA Medical Center, White River Junction, Vermont. He was on staff for three years and was appointed a position as a member of the Tumor Board along with other physicians in the hospital. Dr. Loedding was also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (A.C.L.S.) at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and was responsible for the testing and certification of all physicians, and other staff in CPR certifications. Dr. Loedding provided all the necessary dental care for the hospital patients with various medical compromises.
Dr. Loedding has been in private practice at his Beaver location since 1993. He continues to improve his craft by taking continuing education yearly. Dr. Loedding and his staff attend annual classes through various accredited institutions.
